You will stay in two separate places when you come on one of our
riding holidays.
Most
nights are spent in our farm homestead (below),
which has recently undergone extensive alterations with our guests'
comfort in mind. There is a large double bedroom (click
here for photograph) and two twin rooms, which share a guest
bathroom and toilet.
You are welcome to make use of our swimming pool, relax on the decks
and enjoy the spectacular 180 degree views of the Kaipara Harbour.
You
will also spend one or two nights in our converted shearer's
quarters on the other side of the South Head peninsula. This building
has been upgraded from working shearers' quarters to a "farm
cottage" for our riding holidays and comfortably sleeps up
to 12 people in six rooms (two of which can be combined to make
a larger room if desired). It has two showers, two toilets, a large
kitchen and dining facilities (click here for
photograph).
Non-riding
companions are welcome to stay overnight with you at either location
by prior arrangement.
Accommodation
can also be available without going on a trek on a bed-and-breakfast
basis. Please enquire.
